Journey of Hands

This painting starts from the right side and works to the left. We are brought into this world with hands. We are baptized with hands and what you see through the paint is water. It represents the covenants of baptism. The girl in the front represents a young girl as she grows older holding on to the word of God. We see her with hands connected in marriage.

The white represents the covenants. We see a young mother holding her child and the tender learning experience of making bread. We see a mother praying over her older children in later life and finally an elderly mother looking back at her earliest memories in that journey of hands.
